I tried many methods to clear myself of limiting beliefs and problem thoughts and feelings. Nothing seemed to work because I wasnt connecting with the Divinity within. So I was very intrigued when I heard about Dr Hew Len Ho Oponopono and how he healed an entire ward of mentally ill criminals. So is this Podcast any good and can it help you to free yourself?</p>
<p>First lets establish, what is Ho Oponopono? It is an ancient Hawaiian spiritual tradition of problem solving. Its basic premise is that all problems are just subconscious memories replaying in the mind. They are like old tapes repeating over and over. Dr Hew Len Ho Oponopono uses 4 simple but very powerful statements to appeal to the divinity within to clean these problems. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>How Much Weight Can You Lose in a Week?  I&#8217;ll give you some numbers, but it all depends on how much weight can YOU lose in a week.</p>
<p> Keep reading.</p>
<p> First &#8211; the more you have to lose the faster you&#8217;ll lose. So if you are obese you can double the numbers below. And if you are very lean already, divide them in half.</p>
<p> Second &#8211; I am talking about average weight loss per week from FAT. In most cases it&#8217;s not the same as how much you lose on the scale.</p>
<p> It&#8217;s easy to lose muscle (usually with crash dieting) and getting the scale to move, but that&#8217;s shooting yourself in the foot.</p>
<p> The short of it is when you lose FAT you look great, when you lose muscle you look smaller, but flabby.</p>
<p> So how much weight can you lose in a week?</p>
<p> The basics of weight loss are diet and exercise. Your average weight loss per week will depend on:<br />
 1. How strict are you willing to eat?</p>
<p> 2. How hard and how often are you willing to move you body?</p>
<p> It is POSSIBLE to have 4 pounds average weight loss in a week.</p>
<p> But if I showed you the diet and the exercise program required, you&#8217;d probably say &#8220;forget it.&#8221;</p>
<p> And even if you did agree to the diet and exercise program, it&#8217;s not sustainable for more than a few weeks.</p>
<p> The real question is how much weight can you lose in a week&#8230;after week, after week.</p>
<p> The sad truth is that for most women it&#8217;s closer to ZERO pounds per week.</p>
<p> I&#8217;d estimate that the average weight loss per week of a typical woman who is trying to lose weight without guidance and succeeding is 0.5 pounds per week at best.</p>
<p> Not too shabby. Can we improve? Sure.</p>
<p> In my experience as a women&#8217;s fitness coach I&#8217;ve found that the perfect balance of effort (watching what you eat and how much you exercise) and results is average weight loss per week of 1.5-2 pounds.</p>
<p> My best answer to how much weight can you lose in a week for a busy woman with a job and other responsibilities is 2 pounds per week of sustainable FAT loss.</p>
<p> How does that sound to you? Too much? Too little?</p>
<p> One important reminder. Don&#8217;t expect the scale to move by 2 pounds per weeks. You&#8217;ll be building muscle and losing fat at the same time, so the scale might not move at all or only a little bit.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do Energy Drinks Really Give You Energy, or Just a Fat Stomach<br />
I receive a ton of questions about all of these new &#8220;energy&#8221; drinks that have hit the market over the last few years. They seem to be all the rage, especially with the youth, and they promise you the world with outrageous claims of all of the super energy that you are going to have, and how you&#8217;ll be crushing the competition in your sport, and so on.</p>
<p>So a couple questions arise:</p>
<p>Are these &#8220;energy&#8221; drinks really any good for you?<br />
 Do they actually increase your energy?<br />
 Do they really have some sort of magical energy formula?<br />
 Will they help you lose weight?</p>
<p>First of all, let&#8217;s look at what most of these energy drinks are usually made of. Most of them are simply carbonated water loaded with gut-fattening high fructose corn syrup, caffeine, the amino acid taurine, and a few random B-vitamins thrown in for show to trick you into thinking there&#8217;s something healthy about these concoctions.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s start with the high fructose corn syrup. Well, here we&#8217;ve got empty calories that will go straight to your belly fat, and that are actually even WORSE for you than plain old refined sugar.</p>
<p>Ok, so you say that they have low-sugar or sugar-free varieties as an alternative to the HFCS-laden energy drinks. Yes, but now you have the problem of the harmful chemicals in the artificial sweeteners.</p>
<p>Another problem with artificial sweeteners is that there are some researchers that believe artificial sweetener use leads people to inadvertently consume more calories and gain more weight in the long run. I won&#8217;t go into the details on that because that would fill up an entire discussion by itself. Just trust me that artificial sweeteners and artificial chemicals in food in general, are all bad news for your body!</p>
<p>What about the caffeine? Well, first of all, caffeine in itself doesn&#8217;t provide &#8220;energy&#8221;. Technically, the only substances that actually provide energy are calories (from carbs, protein, and fat).</p>
<p>However, caffeine can be an aid for livening or waking some people up, by means of stimulating the central nervous system. Keep in mind though, if you&#8217;re a regular coffee drinker, you&#8217;re probably addicted to caffeine and probably wouldn&#8217;t receive too much benefit from the caffeine in an energy drink anyway.</p>
<p>Besides, instead of caffeine added to some carbonated drink, I&#8217;d rather get my caffeine from a natural source like green, white, or oolong teas, which actually provide healthful antioxidants too!</p>
<p>Now what about that so called magical blend of taurine and B-vitamins that they load into these energy drinks? Well, big deal&#8230;you can get taurine in almost any protein source. And the vast majority of those B-vitamins are simply coming right out into the toilet in your pee. Vitamins are best obtained naturally from real food sources, not artificially added to some carbonated drink. Your body just doesn&#8217;t use fake sources of vitamins as readily as natural sources from real food.</p>
<p>So as you can see, in my opinion, I give all of these energy drinks a big time THUMBS DOWN! You&#8217;re better off mixing up your own homemade energy drink with some iced unsweetened green, white, and oolong teas, a little bit of 100% pure berry or pomegranate juice, and maybe a touch of a non-denatured whey protein.</p>
<p>Well, I hope this article cleared up some of the confusion about these energy drinks that are being so heavily marketed these days, and will help you make more informed decisions for your health.

A flat stomach in 3 days? That&#8217;s a big claim. But quite achievable if the reason your stomach isn&#8217;t flat is because you suffer from bloating. How to get a flat stomach is one of the most common questions that many women are searching for an answer to. Why? Because whatever size you are a flat stomach makes you look slimmer. Your bum may be big, your hips may be wide but a flat stomach somehow seems to balance everything up giving you a leaner appearance.</p>
<p> Okay then. So how do I get a flat stomach, I hear you ask? Well the first thing is to stand tall. You may be only 5ft nothing but by straightening your back, tucking your tummy in gently and holding your head up high you will instantly look taller and slimmer. Next you need to consider your diet.  Small changes can make a huge difference. Try walking instead of taking the car everywhere. Eat one less biscuit or slice of bread, drink one less beer or creamy coffee. Don&#8217;t starve or deprive yourself. Just cut back on your daily consumption and get your body moving a little more. Losing overall body fat will go a long way towards helping you get a flat stomach.</p>
<p> Finally you need to work out if you are suffering from bloating. Food intolerance is a common problem these days and may be preventing you from getting that flat stomach. However by following the right elimination diet and removing food and ingredients you are sensitive to you can get a flat stomach in as little as 3 days. What&#8217;s more, once you isolate the foods causing you the problem your stomach will stay flat as long as you continue to avoid those foods. <p> You want some abs, right?</p>
<p> You want to lose stomach fat and get a firm, flat stomach&#8230;maybe even with a little definition&#8230;maybe even a six-pack.</p>
<p> Who doesn&#8217;t? I know I do. That&#8217;s why I work so hard to get and maintain my physique.</p>
<p> It was tough, but it&#8217;s not impossible. I&#8217;m sick of hearing people say they don&#8217;t have the genetics to lose stomach fat and get a firm, flat stomach, let alone get six-pack abs.</p>
<p> That&#8217;s a bunch of crap! If you&#8217;re reading this, you can lose stomach fat. As a matter of fact, you can lose as much stomach fat as you want and even get that six-pack.</p>
<p> You just need to do things differently than you are right now.</p>
<p> First, if you&#8217;re not doing anything&#8230;do something. Sounds stupid, but you&#8217;d be surprised how often I need to tell people that.</p>
<p> Second, you need to stop doing crunches, sit-ups, twists, leg lifts, etc. Doing hundreds and thousands of those exercises every week will not help you lose stomach fat, let alone get a flat, firm stomach and they especially won&#8217;t help you get a six-pack. Not when you have a layer of flabby goo sitting on your waist line.<br />
 You need to burn the fat off your stomach and to do that you need to eat right and you need to do fat burning full body workouts.</p>
<p> Here&#8217;s an example of a fat loss workout I just gave to a client that was specifically designed to help him lose stomach fat and get six-pack abs.</p>
<p> Perform this workout as a circuit and do as many circuits as you can in 15 minutes. Do this circuit before your regular workout when you&#8217;re still fresh 2-3 times per week for the next 4 weeks.</p>
<p> 1A) Dumbbell Split Squat &#8211; 10 reps per side</p>
<p> 1B) &#8220;T&#8221; Push-up &#8211; 10 reps</p>
<p> 1C) Overhead Squat &#8211; 10 reps</p>
<p> 1D) Cross Body Mountain Climber &#8211; 30 seconds</p>
<p> 1E) Push-up w/Dumbbell Row &#8211; 8 per arm</p>
<p> That workout will work your entire body, and each exercise is designed to put extra emphasis on your abs. If you do it right, you will feel it in your abs and you will lose stomach fat.</p>
<p> As far as fat loss nutrition and fat loss cardio go, here&#8217;s the easiest things I can tell you. When it comes to nutrition, you&#8217;ve got to eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, no juices sorry, limit any food that comes in a bag or box and cut your dinner portions by about 25%.</p>

<p>About the Procedure</p>
<p>The Gastric Sleeve procedure helps with weight loss by reducing the size of the stomach and thereby restricting the amount of food that can be eaten at any one time. During surgery, the surgeon removes about three-quarters of the stomach along the outside curvature. The new stomach is the shape of a thin tube, which spans the original distance from the esophagus to the small intestine. The pyloric valve, the normal outlet which controls the release of food from the stomach to the small intestine, continues to function normally. The surgery also helps to control hunger by removing the upper stomach portion, which is the area that produces the hunger stimulating hormone, ghrelin.<br />
The gastric sleeve is increasingly being performed as a stand-alone procedure, but many times it is considered the first step in a two part process. For patients who are either extremely obese or have so many health problems that they do not qualify for gastric bypass surgery, the gastric sleeve can be performed to help a patient start losing weight. After a few years of weight loss, a patient has usually lost enough weight so that the second step of the process can be completed, usually with the duodenal switch procedure, if further weight loss is desired.</p>
<p>Gastric Sleeve vs. Gastric Bypass</p>
<p>When comparing the gastric sleeve to gastric bypass surgery, there are two primary surgical differences. With gastric sleeve, the natural outlet of the stomach (pyloric valve) is preserved and the small intestine is not cut, rerouted, or bypassed. With gastric bypass surgery, a new stomach outlet (stoma) is created and the small intestine is cut in two &#8211; the first portion is bypassed and the last portion is attached directly to the new stomach pouch at the new opening.</p>
<p>The benefits of the gastric sleeve procedure compared to gastric bypass surgery include: digestive system is not bypassed or rerouted and digestion occurs normally, does not cause malabsorption or nutritional deficiencies, less chance of developing ulcers, less complicated procedure, safer for extremely obese and those with many health problems.</p>
<p>Gastric Sleeve vs. Adjustable Gastric Banding</p>
<p>The gastric sleeve and adjustable gastric banding procedures (LAP-BAND or REALIZE Band) both help promote weight loss through restrictive methods, neither method involves changes to the small intestine. They help a patient lose weight by controlling feelings of hunger and limiting meal portions. Although the gastric sleeve is not adjustable or reversible, it also does not involve having a medical device implanted into the body, does not require follow-up appointments for adjusting and filling the gastric band, and food does not get stuck at the opening to the stomach.</p>

Using resistance bands can be an effective component of any workout routine, and abdominal exercises are no exception. There are a number of exercises targeting the midsection that incorporate resistance bands. Resistance bands come in a variety of difficulties, usually indicated by the color of the band itself (e.g., green can be little resistance, yellow may be medium, red for difficult, etc.). Choose a resistance level that is appropriate for you, then move up as necessary. Do not overdo it by immediately grabbing the most advanced band you can find, as this can lead to injury. As with any workout routine, be sure to consult a professional before beginning and always warm up properly to avoid injury.</p>
<p> Seated Crunch<br />
 This exercise provides the same benefits as the basic abdominal crunch, but with less neck strain and without the possible discomfort that comes with lying on the floor, since it uses a band rather than gravity to provide resistance. For this abdominal exercise, you will need to be sitting in a straight back chair which you can somehow loop your band through. Sit up straight with your feet flat on the floor and about as wide apart as your hips. Contract your abdominal muscles, and slowly bend forward to about a forty-five degree angle. Repeat for an entire set. Be sure to keep your feet on the floor and your back as straight as possible.</p>
<p> One-Arm Band Pull<br />
 Put the chair away and stand up, again with feet hip width apart. Put your hands above your head, holding the band about eighteen inches apart. Keeping your left hand overhead, bring your right hand out to the side, elbow bent at about a ninety degree angle. Hold your left arm still as you contract your abdominals and lower your right arm until your hand is in line with your chest. Hold this position, then slowly return. Repeat for an entire set, then switch hands. Keep your back straight and avoid bending or leaning at the waist. For an additional challenge, do this exercise standing on one foot. Perform the exercise with both hands while standing on your left foot, then do it all again on your right foot.</p>
<p> Twisting Roll-Back<br />
 For this abdominal exercise, you will need to sit on a flat surface, preferably the floor. Use a mat or towel for cushioning to ease possible strain on your tail bone. Sit down with your legs bent and heels on the floor. Your toes should be pointing up&#8211; do not put your feet flat on the floor. Loop the band around your feet, put one end in each hand and put your hands together. In a rolling motion, lower your torso toward the floor about forty-five degrees. As you do this, twist to the right and spread your hands to the sides. Hold for a second, then rotate back to the middle and raise your torso back to start. Your heels should remain on the floor throughout the exercise. Do a full set, then switch to the left side.
